New head office opened and HIMA Digital launched

The HIMA Group has celebrated the grand opening of Origo Solutions’ new head office at Kjøita Kraftsenter in Kristiansand. The move is the next step after Origo became part of the HIMA Group in 2024, and it strengthens Origo’s role as HIMA’s regional center for Scandinavia.

From Kristiansand and our offices in Arendal and Stavanger, we serve customers in Norway, Sweden and Denmark across oil and gas, process industry, energy and renewables. The new premises bring engineering, workshop and test facilities together under one roof, along with a HIMA Experience Room where customers can see our solutions in practice.

Guests at the opening saw live demonstrations of functional safety and OT security solutions. The HIMA Group also announced HIMA Digital, a new unit that combines Origo’s development of digital platforms, including SCADA+, with HIMA’s safety expertise, as part of the group’s #safetygoesdigital strategy.
