Several chapters, one mission
Origo Solutions has evolved through several ownership chapters while staying true to the same mission: protecting people, assets and the environment.
Moland Automation is founded
The origins of Origo Solutions date back to the founding of Moland Automation, later renamed Bjørge Safety Systems.
Sole HIMA representative
The company becomes HIMA's sole representative in Norway, the start of a close partnership that has lasted for decades.
New ownership
The Norwegian investment companies HitecVision and Aker Capital acquire Bjørge Safety Systems.
Rebranded as Origo Solutions
Bjørge Safety Systems and Origo Engineering become Origo Solutions. The merger and the new name mark a new chapter, built on decades of experience in safety and automation.
A HIMA Company
The HIMA Group acquires Origo Solutions. Origo Solutions becomes the regional headquarters of HIMA in Scandinavia, including responsibility for sales and services in Sweden and Denmark.
New head office and HIMA Digital
We open our new head office at Kjøita Kraftsenter in Kristiansand, and the HIMA Group launches HIMA Digital, building on Origo's digital platform development.
